Why Do People Get Married Just To Later Divorce?

It’s so absurd lately that people get married with divorce at the back of their minds. Who started the culture of easily walking of marriage?

Why does it seem like we are accountable to no one? Are we this free, that even the things that should matter have been brought to nothing? Why in all honesty should get married to a person you know things may not work out?

There is a reason as to why there are stages to follow before people get married. This why there is dating so that two people get to know each other.

Know each other before anything;

The most amusing and mind blowing thing is that people always think whatever they didn’t change during dating, they will change during marriage. Who started that lie? If someone can’t change while dating you, they definitely won’t change after marrying you.

It is very fine to walk out of a relationship, its not marriage. But when two people get married, then there is a lot to think about. Why would you wait till marriage to know that this person was not meant to be yours? The truth of the matter is whether we like it or not, however free we may seem, marriage should be respected in all honesty.

At any point in a relationship if you ever feel uneasy in a relationship, talk about it and if it can’t change then with your head held high, move out of it before saying I Do.

Divorce has its impacts on both parties and mostly the children. Most of the times they are put on a position to choose a side to lean on. Do they deserve that?

Let’s not rush into marriage to impress everyone. Let’s walk into marriage because we know we can stand together even when things fall apart.
