You Have Violated So Many Values Of Health Profession During Covid -Activists To Government

A section of health Activists have come out and condemned government for violating health profession values during Covid 19. They said this during a virtual town hall meeting.

The activists disagreed with the fact vaccination has now apparently become mandatory. There are public offices and places one can’t walk into unless they have received the vaccination.

Eva Mugisa, a pharmacist, emphasized that the Hippocratic oath tells them to uphold consent confidentiality. However, these two things must have taken holiday during Covid 19.

“The Hippocratic oath binds medical workers like me not to harm and to uphold consent and confidentiality. This oath gives legitimacy due to its respect to submission to divinity but we didn’t see this upheld during these “waves”, she said.

She said as government is focusing on private health, it’s trampling on freedoms and rights all over.

“We should not focus only on private health, the freedoms and rights being infringed affect our Mental and Spiritual health. Some SOPs are non-scientific and not proven to be efficacious example masks.”

Vaccination has been the talk of the town for so many months. Many people have raised questions but the government has provided no answers especially about the vaccines.

Instead of making it mandatory for everyone to get vaccinated, they should make people understand why they need to get vaccinated.

There are rumours even that starting January 2022, if you need vaccinating, you will have to pay. However, the president promised that they will reopen the economy.
