A Pass Reveals Why He Didn’t Join Eddy Kenzo’s Federation

Renown singer and songwriter A Pass real names Alexander Bagonza has revealed why he decided not to join Eddy Kenzo’s federation.

The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) was started last year in May 2023. Its president Eddy Kenzo called upon other musicians to join him so that they fight for musician’s copyright law.

Some artistes joined and later left, others didn’t join at all. A Pass is among those that didn’t join at all and he has his reasons why he didn’t find it important.

According to the singer, the federation has its own agenda that is not that important to artists. He said he knows he can do things on his own.

The talented singer said he has so much to do, he doesn’t have time to sit in the federation meetings. He said he doesn’t even care about the money that government is going to give the artists. A Pass said artists can use it the way they want. After all, they know why it was given to them.

“Different people have asked me why I didn’t join the musicians federation and the only reason is that it is not important to me. I can do things on my own, I don’t see a reason why I should waste time in meetings that are not helpful,” A Pass said.
