Cindy Sanyu Reveals Why She Didn’t Invite Former Blue3 Colleagues To Perform At The Battle

Singer and Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) president Cindy Sanyu has revealed reasons why she didn’t invited former Blue3 Colleagues to perform at the concluded battle.

She said she wanted to show everyone that she can manage to do it alone without any help from fellow musicians.

Before Cindy went solo in her career, she was singing with Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru. This was in a group known as Blue3.

They would later split bitterly with Cindy, they adding another female artiste in the group known as Maya. However, still the groups didn’t become successful hence all leaving and starting solo careers.

For Jackie Chandiru, it was hard for her because she got addicted to drugs. This was apparently a painkiller prescribed by a doctor after she got an accident.

The addiction got her off her career a little bit but after the treatment and rehabilitation, fans expected the blue3 to re-build and go again.

Although there was some hopes, Cindy looked to have ended them with her biggest comeback. This was a music battle between her and Sheebah didn’t invite any colleagues.

The singer said there is no bad blood between them, she simply wanted to show people that she is the best out of them all.

“I want to clarify on my decision of not inviting other artists, including Blue3, to perform during the battle. I just wanted my fans to know I could take on the challenge and emerge victorious independently,” Cindy Sanyu said
