Irene Namatovu To Only Do Band Music With Husband Geoffrey Lutaaya

Singer Irene Namatovu has revealed that she will only manage to do band music if she is singing with her husband Hon Geoffrey Lutaaya. Before Geoffrey Lutaaya became a Member of Parliament in 2021, he was so much into music because that was his way of earning money.

He is among the few Ugandans that do band music. Even his wife Irene Namatovu is known for band music although she is trying so much to get it off herself.

After joining politics, now Geoffrey Lutaaya’s time for music is limited although he is trying so much to perform in certain places and also release some music.

The few songs he has released while in Parliament have featured Irene Namatovu and they are all band songs.

According to Irene, she is past band music and now focusing on contemporary music that people quickly catch up with. She said doing music with her husband doesn’t mean she is falling back to doing band music again.

The talented singer told her fans that they shouldn’t expect any band song from her. The only band songs that will come up will be with her husband Geoffrey Lutaaya. This is because that is the type of music he is in.

“I will only do band music with my husband Geoffrey Lutaaya. I told my fans not to expect any band song from me because I am past that type of music. I’m now doing another type that I think will take me to another level,” Irene Namatovu said.
