It Felt A Bit Strange – Singer Laygacy On Fatherhood At 23

At 23-years-old, singer Laygacy got the joy of a new father when his wife gave life to a bouncing baby boy. This happened on the 14th November 2021 at Mukwaya General Hospital.

During an interview, he was asked how the baby and the mother are doing. He said his wife experienced labor pain for almost a week forcing the doctors to resort to a Caesarean section.

After a successful operation, she delivered the baby who is reported to be in good condition and said to be feeding well. The two chose to name their newborn “Blessen Alexander Yiga”.

“I experienced overwhelming emotions when the child was born, but didn’t exactly feel warm and fuzzy at first. I felt a whole range of emotions – from complete exhaustion to total elation. And you know this is my first baby, so it even felt a little strange to be home. I also had an overwhelming sensation that life has changed forever,” said Laygacy.

He said what he had considered an adult home before the births had now become his family home. Because it had been completed with an extra little person brought into the world.

Apparently, Laygacy’s wife managed to keep her pregnancy a secret and he revealed that she wanted to surprise everyone.

When he found out that Hope Nekesa, mother to Blessen, was pregnant, he asked God every day to bless him with a handsome son.

And he revealed that this is exactly what happened because his sone is extremely handsome.

To his fans, Laygacy said he has a new project dubbed “Fronto” coming any time soon with Karole Kasita and Nessim on it. He promised the best saying it is a wonderful project and hoped his lovely people out there will love it.
