Leave Ugandan Celebrities To Be Creative When It Comes To Fashion – Maro Tells Fans

Faded singer, Maro, has requested Ugandan fans to let their celebrities be as creative as they can when it comes to fashion without calling them hilarious and local.

In Uganda, fashion is not highly respected like in other countries. This saw fans bashing their celebrities who they claim dress “badly”.

For long, fashion has been left behind in Uganda, however, with technology advancing and people being more creative, the country has got young people that are trying to pull it closer. They are trying to be as creative as the western people.

Fashion stars like Ahumuza Brian also known as Abryanz has tried to bring the fashion game to another level. Every year he holds a fashion ceremony known as Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs). This is where different people showcase their fashion sense.

Now, every time someone comes in with a different vibe and fashion, they are usually criticized. They are told to stop copying western people yet western people are admired when they put on such clothes.

According to Maro, that is not okay with him and people should stop laughing at these creative people saying they are local.

“I think we laugh at these things because they are local. But have you seen the things that make fashion shows from where it all comes from? Hilarious is the word and we say nothing coz it’s the west being creative. Let Ugandans be creative too with what they can afford,” Maro tweeted.

Apparently, Maro moved to Germany with his baby mama. Ever since he left, he has slowly backed down from releasing new music.
