Maurice Kirya Scoffs At People Who Backbite Him In Public In Luganda

Singer Maurice Kirya has scoffed at people who backbite him in public especially in Luganda. He said because he uses English most of the time, some people don’t know that he can actually speak Luganda.

The talented singer revealed that some people are so funny because when they are talking about him, they refer to his songs that are in Luganda. They usually forget that he is the same person who sang Luganda meaning he can still speak that same language.

The singer said the only reason why he speaks English in the public is because his parents paid for him school fees and he would want to use it so well.

Maurice also revealed that one day he will pretend like he can’t understand Luganda and someone will reveal where they have hidden their money.

He said he will go get that money and the person will not find it there. Apparently, people just can’t understand that he is the same person who sang most of his songs in Luganda.

“Some Ugandans are so funny because every time I go to buy things anywhere they start backbiting me in Luganda. It is so funny as they think I can’t speak Luganda yet when they are referring to me, they talk about my Luganda song. People need to understand I speak English because my parents paid school fees and I feel I need to use the fees,” he said.
