Rwandese Singer The Ben And Fiance Hold Traditional Marriage Ceremony

Famous Rwandese musician Benjamin Mugisha, popularly know as The Ben and his wife Pamela Uwicyeza unite families from both sides in a colourful introduction and dowry ceremony.

The introduction took place at Jalia Garden in Kigali Rwanda yesterday evening with only close family and friends in attendance.

This happened a week before the set date for their wedding ceremony. It is scheduled to take place on the 23rd December 2023.

The Ben and his wife Pamela Uwicyeza have been together for almost more that three years. When they started dating, they decided to go for a civil marriage at the District Attorney’s Office.

Only a few people were in attendance. They announced that they got married but without any parties. Among the ceremony attendees included fellow U.S-based Rwandan singer, Médard Jobert Ngabo aka Meddy and Alex Muyoboke, among others.

The road to their engegement

Last year on 17 October, Uwicyeza, a former Miss Rwanda contestant, said ‘YES’ to the ‘VAZI’ hit maker. This was in a colorful proposal held in the Maldives Islands where the two spent holidays together.

The Ben and Uwicyeza started dating in 2019, and since then, they’ve been sharing pictures of themselves together. These are usually done with sweet messages on all of their social media accounts.

Early this year 2023, the singer announced that he is finally ready to give his wife the marriage ceremonies of her dreams.

He has been talking about the wedding for quite a while. However, yesterday the singer surprised his fans with an introduction ceremony that was very beautiful.

It should be remembered that ever since The Ben and his wife Pamela got married, they haven’t had any children yet. It is not clear if they were waiting to first have a wedding or if they even don’t want children at all.
