Sheilah Gashumba Calls Out Uganda Airlines For Being Inconsistent In Its Service Provision

Social Media influencer and media personality Sheilah Gashumba has called out Uganda Airlines for being inconsistent in its service provision. Taking to her X page, she pointed out that the Airline’s business class seats are very poor.

She equated them to an economy class and advised her followers to book the economy class instead. This is because there’s no difference between the two.

It would also be a waste of money. She added that the airlines uses a smaller plane to ply the South African route as the other bigger ones only fly to Lagos and Lusaka for the time being.

However, she faced criticism from some of her followers who claimed that she was roasting and embarrassing the Airlines.

In her defense, she said that she’s always commended them where necessary. Her problem with them is their service provision inconsistencies.

“If you check my tweets, I have tweeted the best things about Uganda Airlines since they started for free btw. My issue here is consistency. I’ve used the airline before to SA more than 10 times from the time they launched. They always had a bigger craft. My disappointment is those bigger crafts are now being used for new routes that have been launched this year. They are completely ignoring the old routes and my point still stands. Rather pay for the economy then than business class!!”

“How can the same flight going to Kenya for 45 minutes be the same flight for 4 hours!! Plus it’s not coming cheap! Complete rip-off.”
