Stop Telling People To Riot – Little Joe To Bobi Wine

Radio presenter Little Joe Mpologoma has asked National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu to stop telling people to riot.

He said the people who rioted years ago are still in prison with no help. Now others are about also to be arrested for the same reasons.

Bobi Wine yesterday asked his supporters to riot against the government for poor roads around Kampala city.

This happened after some good roads were cut for the visitors that were coming to Uganda for the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). Some of the visitors are presidents from other countries and other leaders.

The government asked Ugandans to be on their best behavior and smile all the time to make visitors feel at home. As an opposition leader, Bobi Wine wasn’t pleased with the statements made by the government.

He said Ugandans are struggling without freedom. He asked his supporters not to smile because that is not the reality of the life they are living.

The outspoken Little Joe said he knows some people will not say anything to Bobi Wine. However, he needs to know that innocent Ugandans don’t deserve to be arrested.

He said Bobi Wine should get other ways of protesting than people going to the streets and getting arrested.

“A lot of people are still in prison and you are telling others to riot, this isn’t right, I’m asking Bobi Wine to get another way of protesting,” he said.
