Victor Ruz Opens Up About His Family Background

Singer Victor Ruz has opened up about his background revealing what his father used to do back in the day. He said he grew up in a very humble background where they used to struggle to even get what to eat.

The singer said even going to school was very hard. His mother was a casual worker and his father was also not earning anything good to look after all the children.

The singer joined the music industry in 2019 with the help of television presenter MC Kats. By then, he was in form six vacation and very young. He said he wanted to join university but that was impossible.

Instead of keeping at home and waiting for parents to get money, he decided to join the music industry.

According to Victor Ruz, growing up, he knew his father was working in Kampala. He didn’t know that he was selling charcoal and struggling to make it.

The talented young star said knowing what his dad does for a job motivated him to even work harder and get the family better. He revealed that his story made him who he is.

“My father used to sell charcoal here in Kampala while we were in the village. I say my story because I am very proud of my background. After all, it motivates me. I don’t need any other motivation,” he said.
