We Are Also Human Beings – Karole Kasita To Trolls

Singer Karole Kasita is not happy with some Ugandans trolling her for leaving her three-month-old baby behind to go and perform. The singer got pregnant last year and from the day of the pregnancy to the last week of giving birth, she was on stage performing.

She didn’t take any break from music to even prepare for delivery.

Now three months after giving birth, she is already back on stage again. People are wondering how she is doing it comfortably. This is because babies always want their mothers with them until they start eating at 6 months.

In a recent interview, Kasita was asked how she is comfortable leaving her baby behind to go for hours. The singer said it is normal.

She is not the first person to do it and won’t be the last. She, however, will always give her son enough time although people are already judging her.

According to Karole Kasita, artists are also human beings because even ladies that work in banks are given a holiday of only 3 months after giving birth.

She said other people spend a whole day without seeing their children and yet for her, she only goes for a few hours.

“I don’t know why people look at us as if we are not humans. When girls that work in the bank produce, you don’t ask them how they manage motherhood. But with musicians, you make it sound like a big deal,” – she said.
