Ykee Benda Meets Speaker Anita Among At Parliament, Details Revealed

Singer Tugume Wycliffe also known as Ykee Benda has met the speaker of parliament Hon Anita Among yesterday. He has now come out to reveal what they talked about.

From Among’s talking points, their meeting had nothing to do with music in any way. It was all about a school that Ykee Benda in co-owner in Kajjansi.

The school was started early this year and he is working hard to bring it afloat. The singer also indicated that he also managed to give the less privileged bursaries and is looking at giving more.

According to Hon Anita Among, she promised to help Ykee in building the boys dormitory as she was requested to do.

“I had a productive conversation earlier this afternoon with Mr Wyclif Tugume, one of the directors of Golden High School Nsagu. This school provides an integrated creative and performing arts curriculum and offers bursaries to underprivileged students within the Kajjansi community.

Tugume, also known as YKee Benda, is a chemical engineer and musician who is making a significant difference in his community. During our conversation, I committed to visiting the school and supporting the construction of a boys’ dormitory. I would also like to express my gratitude to the team for naming the girls’ dormitory after me,” she tweeted.
