Armed Men Shoot 2 Cops Dead, Steal Guns

The territorial police in Kiboga has registered a serious incident of double murder of two police officers. The murder also resulted into the aggravated robbery of the victims’ guns, which occurred on Thursday at around 7:30 pm. Let’s see what these two armed men did.

The crime happened at Nakasozi police post, in Kiboga district. The officers have been identified as Cpl Nsubuga Francis and SPC Ddimba Paul.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, and colleagues,” said ASP Kamala Racheal, PRO Wamala Region.

According to the facts revealed, the police officers were attacked by a gang of 4 armed men while they were seated at the post. They were dressed in civilian attire.

This is apparently the second incident of such a caliber to occur within a period of 9 days. That is to say, targeting police officers and their guns.

“We have dispatched our teams from the Flying Squad Unit, to team up with the territorial police and ensure the suspects are identified and brought to justice.

The movie of the suspects is not yet determined, but we shall release more details as soon as they are availed,” Kawala said.

In another incident at Kampala University

In similar story previously reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, Kampala University faced many challenges over loosing students at a faster rate. The Police in Jinja launched investigations into the spot shoot of a third-year student at the University in Jinja branch.

However, while at Kampala University, this student was killed by a security guard attached to Star React Security Guard Limited. Tears rolled at campus where other students became angry and started rioting over the security guard.
