Azawi Reveals Why She Took Music Break

Swangz Avenue singer Zawedde Priscilla famously known as Azawi has revealed reasons why she decided to take a break from music. The singer released her first Album last year 2022 and even had a concert.

After that concert, she kind of disappeared from the music scene. She wasn’t performing on many stages like Ugandan musicians usually do.

Fans had started asking what happened as she wasn’t performing and releasing new music. According to the singer, after releasing an album and doing a concert, she felt like she was no longer creative.

All the art she had, she had used it in creating an album and doing a concert.

Like any other musician, Azawi decided to step back and reset then do another album with a new type of music for her fans.

After releasing an album the singer will go ahead to do a concert like she did last time. The only difference is that her concert will be at Serena Hotel yet the last time it was at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

“I was going through a significant creative block, so I decided to take some time off to reflect. That’s why I am here and able to bring you a new album, new music, and a concert,” she said.

It should be noted that Azawi is doing a second concert in a period of two years yet Vinka, one of her co-stara she found at Swangz Avenue hasn’t done a concert yet.
