“Even My Dead Body Can’t Join MK Movement,”- Hon. Barnabas Tinkasiimire

Buyaga West constituency Member of Parliament Hon Barnabas Tinkasiimire has revealed that he is not and will never be a member of the MK Movement. He said even his dead body couldn’t join that movement.

The MK Movement is led by the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. He started it in 2023 during the celebration of his birthday parties. It was spearheaded by events promoter Balaam Barugahare who was also in charge of organizing the birthday parties.

Many politicians and members of parliament have joined the MK Movement. Some are from the ruling party while others are from opposition political parties.

It is said that the MK Movement is making allies just in case President Museveni resigns, he will be having someone to take over.

According to Barnabas Tinkasiimire, he supports the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) despite saying bad things about it. He, however, revealed that he could never support the first son Gen Muhoozi, and his MK Movement.

Hon Tinkasiimire said so many members of parliament join because of the money but they know that the movement is nothing. He added that the opposition people who are joining the MK Movement are already showing how greedy they are.

“I want to assure that even my dead body can’t join the MK Movement. It means nothing to me and to the society,” he said.
