Kasuku On Why Politics Has Become A Job

Media personality Kasuku real name Katende Isaac, has revealed why politics has slowly become a job in Uganda. With different political parties in Uganda and freedom to support and join any political party, many people have joined active politics.

Some have contested on different positions while others have not even got a chance to contest but have found their way to be very active.

In Uganda, the opposition parties especially those from the newest party National Unity Platform (NUP) are very active and outspoken. According to Kasuku, Ugandans don’t have what to do that brings in money to run their everyday lives.

The only thing people are looking at is politics. This is because there is some money from government and even other organizations outside.

He said the reason why many people have decided to join politics especially the opposition is because funders are so many at the moment. People are apparently, busy getting money and don’t see a reason to go look for ordinary jobs that are less paying.

The outspoken YouTuber said politics doesn’t need people who are highly educated like any other jobs. This is apparently the main reason why people are referring it to as a job these days.

“Politics has recently become a full-time job. People no longer want to go look for ordinary jobs because there isn’t any money there. These days especially in Uganda, there are many none government organization that are willing and are ready  to fund the opposition political parties. With that, money people are not working for other people,” Kasuku said.
