Kasuku Expresses Fear After Speaker Anita Among Revealed Her Life Is Being Threatened

Media personality, Kasuku has expressed his fear over the recent statements made by the speaker. Recently, while in a sitting, Speaker Anita Among said her life is being threatened.

The speaker has been demanding for reports lately from Ministers. She said she needs reports about people who are being kidnapped.

Not only this, she said, it’s about time court made a decision about Ssegirinya and Ssewanyana because it’s long overdue.

However, if now the speaker says her life is being threatened, could it be because of these cases? Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja on hearing this said this is impossible but it will be looked into if Among insists.

Kasuku on the other side has said if the speaker with all her security, can be threatened, how about a layman? This has aroused fear in him at the possibility of these threats becoming more serious.

On the other hand, Among while in the plenary session yesterday, assured the MPs who wanted to override her, that she runs Parliament.

It is at this point where she said the decision made about Nyege Nyege still stands. At the beginning of this week, Parliament alongside the Prime Minister decided to let Nyege Nyege go on much as some issues had been raised earlier.

Meanwhile, the speaker is not the first honorable person to be threatened. In fact most of them, who came out to say they were threatened, were assassinated in the end. So perhaps, she should be taken seriously.
