Martha Mukisa’s Concert Registers A Success

Upcoming musician Martha Mukisa had quite a good laugh last night as her sisaga concert registered a success. Her fans attended in numbers and even if the turn up was low, one can say she didn’t fail.

The singer had announced her concert at the beginning of this year 2023. She said it will happen on 12th May at Freedom city.

People especially fellow musicians didn’t care much about it until the last minute when she started seeing the vibe very low.

It is very rare in Uganda’s music industry to find someone especially an upcoming musician staging a concert. Most times musicians who have been in the game for so many years are the ones that do stage concerts.

There are even those that have been in the industry for more than 5 years but are still in fear of staging a concert.

However, for Martha Mukisa, she didn’t wait for that long. Only three years in the industry with one hit song, a collaboration with Eddy Kenzo, she felt like it is time for a concert.

Fellow singer Kapa Cat called her out weeks towards the concert telling her to stop it because it will ashame her. Other musicians like Eddy Kenzo kept on encouraging her and giving her the support needed.

These big musicians even called their fans through their social media platforms to attend but all that wasn’t a success. Still a few showed up and enjoyed the show.
