Mbarara University Student Found Dead In Her Room

The Mbarara University of Science and Technology community is in mourning at the moment. This follows the unfortunate demise of one of the students.

The deceased has been identified as Rukiga Abura, a third-year student in the department of Anesthesia. This is in the Faculty of Medicine.

The Dean of Students at the University made the somber announcement which confirmed the death of Rukia. The deceased was discovered dead at her place of residence on Wednesday afternoon.

The news cast a spell of sadness over the university campus, leaving students, faculty, and staff in shock. Abura had been diligently pursuing her studies in the Faculty of Medicine, exemplifying dedication and passion.

At the moment, the circumstances surrounding her untimely death are still unclear. The University administration has also not provided specific details about the incident.

As the university community copes with the loss of a promising student, the Dean of Students expressed his condolences.

“RIP our Student, Colleague, and Friend,” stated the Dean.

At a later time, the university plans to announce burial arrangements that will allow the community to come together, mourn and pay their respects.
