Museveni Will Go Down In History As One Of The Biggest Liars Of All Time – Bobi Wine

The National Unity Platform’s leader, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, has come out to say that President Museveni will go down as one of the biggest liars of all time in history.

This followed Gen Museveni’s interview with Voice Of America. In this interview, the president said that the problem with a majority of opposition figures is being drunk with power.

“The problem we have is that many actors (in Opposition) have no mission, they just want power. It is not a question of who is to be in power, but what is to be done,” Museveni said.

This did not sit well with Kyagulanyi who said that Museveni is an absolute joke.

The singer-turned-politician also wondered how the NRM chief thinks that out of the 46M people, he thinks he’s the only one with a vision.

Bobi Wine then said that despite his vision, all Museveni brewed in the 36 years is corruption, brutality, vote-rigging.

“This man will go down as one of the biggest liars of all time. To think that out of 46 million Ugandans, he’s the only one with a mission for Uganda is pathetic! 36 years, with all the corruption, brutality, rigging elections and state dysfunction, he’s not ashamed to utter such,” Kyagulanyi lashed out at the president.

The former Kyadondo east legislator then proceeded to quote Museveni who in 1986 after assuming power highlighted Africa’s problem.

Museveni said that the problem was not the people but rather the leaders who overstay in power. 36 years later these words have disappeared in thin air but he’s always made it clear, he doesn’t see anyone serious to take the country further.

Some of Kyagulanyi’s followers however are growing numb because of his constant attacks on Museveni and his government.

They say that they know he’s the problem and they have to eliminate him. What they demand now is a well-articulated manifesto and its implementation from NUP.
