New Video Footage Shows Traffic Officer Tusiime Abdallah Slapping Mercy Bashisha First

New video footage shows traffic Police officer Afande Tusiime Abdallah slapping Mercy Bashisha first. One of the things that dominated news headlines last week was Afande Tusiime, who chased ‘a traffic rules noncompliant road user.’ According to footage recorded by onlookers and shared online, Bashisha was seen slapping and assaulting this officer.

Tusiime then proceeded to pluck off her car number plates.

Consequently, Bashisha was sent behind bars as she awaits her trial. On the other hand, the officer has been swimming in immense praise and gifts from his bosses and the general public.

He was rewarded by the IGP, Ministry of ICT and his kids received free bursaries. Besides, he’s on course to study a Bachelor’s degree all free of charge courtesy of this incident.

Even the Speaker of Parliament, Hon Anita Among personally requested for his deployment at Parliament.

However, there have been a few who have opposed to his rewards and recognition. These argue that he was doing his job. They also said that the lady did not attack him unprovoked.

Although she was in the wrong, he assaulted her first and she then took charge. Indeed a video was shared to support the claims.

However, there isn’t much that will probably change because even the female MPs have already apologized to the country on behalf of all women.

With the new video, no one knows what course the law will take. Perhaps the hero officer is not a hero after all, but a wolf in sheep’s skin.
