Pride Can Mess Up Even The Strongest Of People

Pride comes before a fall, it’s always fun as it starts until you lose everything from your grip. You will be surprised the kind of walls that pride can bring down, the relationships it can break. The bad thing with it is that you always think you’re right and everyone else doesn’t know what they are doing.

It’s like a fruit dying from inside and yet outside, it looks as fresh as the morning air. This is the same way pride eats you up, by the time it shows on the outside, the inside is already damaged.

You may even never realize that you are proud until you have lost the significant things in your life.

So many beautiful relationships have crumbled to the perch of pride. Two people think they can actually live without each other, which is true but under which circumstances are you doing that?

The ego that over rides the urge to do the right thing always makes us lose the right people because we just can’t say sorry. What do you lose when you say sorry? What do you lose when you reach out first?

You lose nothing when you choose to be humble, it doesn’t mean that you’re stupid or weak, it only means you value what is at hand than your inner ego that will come to nothing.

Don’t mix humility and stupidity, these are two different things and obviously have no point of connection at all.

Pride starts the moment you start thinking you can stand on your own. It may be true but how far can you go? Understand the fact that you need people and they need you, let that make you humble.
