Sharon O Leaves Singing, Ventures Into Artiste Management

Singer Sharon O has revealed that she officially quit music to focus on artiste management as her bee career.

She said it’s hard but at her age it is the right thing to do if she wants to remain in the music industry.

In Uganda, there are some musicians who have been singing for more than 25 years and are not even looking at retiring to give the young artistes a chance to also rise.

Some still actively compete with upcoming artistes. A few have retired but still show up for some shows where they are invited.

For Sharon O since she left, she said she is not going to look back. The singer said there are so many talented young artistes that need to be given a chance and opportunity.

She said if she had enough resources she would manage more than two musicians but with what she is having now, she can only manage only one artiste.

“I have been in the music industry for so long and I think it is now time to give the young talents an opportunity to go ahead and make Uganda proud. I am currently managing one musician a female but if I had more resources I would manage more musicians,” Sharon O said.
