Show Children Parental Love As School Is Set To Reopen -Sheikh Imran Ssali

Sheikh Imran Ssali, the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council(UMSC) Secretary for Dawah (Islamic Propagation & Preaching) has advised parents to show their children love as they are getting ready to go back to school.

He says, it’s very important for parents to prepare their children since it’s been a long holiday.

“Show them parental love and care and demonstrate to them that no one can love them better than you,” Sheikh Imran Ssali said.

He advised parents to choose the schools that teach both secular and religious studies.  He emphasized that education without religion is so challenging in this current contemporary and competitive world.

To the school owners, however, Ssali passionately advised them to make education centers enjoyable. By all means, he says they should promote morality. And also mutual understanding with parents in regard to the payments of school dues.

He urged children to utilize their time efficiently and be ambitious to study so that they are useful to their families and communities.

The government released the 2022 school calendar for the reopening of schools in January 2022. Schools will open on 10th Jan and run for 14 weeks.

The second term will begin on May 9, 2022 and will run until August 12, 2022 while the third term is set for 5th September 2022 to 9th December 2022.

With such a fixed program, parents have to get their money ready. Meanwhile, students have to get their mental state in the system.

However, with all the issues, the world has been going through for two years, schools, parents and children should understand each other.
