Singer Zafaran Reveals She Broke Up With Boyfriend For Failing To Pay Her Rent

Singer Zafaran has revealed that she broke up with her boyfriend after he failed to pay her rent. The singer who is signed to Swangz Avenue said that this was around 2017-18 and her boyfriend was working at NIRA.

Her landlord was on her neck asking her to pay rent which was due and she requested for two days assuring that she would pay. She then contacted her boyfriend who promised that he would send her the money.

To her shock, this dude switched off the phone for a couple of days. This made the singer recount all the wrong things he had been doing to her and she decided to end things with him. Luckily for her, she used to perform in a band and she got the money to clear her dues.

“I remember breaking up with my boyfriend after he failed to pay my rent. It must have been around 2017-18 and I was staying in a house worth 100k a month. So the day came when I had to clear my rent but I had no money on me. I promised the landlord that I would clear it in two days and called my boyfriend. He was working at NIRA and he promised he would send the money but he switched off his phones. This annoyed me and I broke up with him as I recounted the many things she had wronged me. Fortunately, I was singing in a band and I managed to get the money,” she said.

Zafaran added that she joined Swangz Avenue around 2021, a thing she never anticipated. By then, she used to do dancehall. However, the label polished her into an artist doing love ballads that have gotten her where she is now.
