Swearing In Ceremony To End Today, Ssegirinya Expected To Take Oath

Swearing in Ceremony for members of parliament is to end today according to the program. It has been running since Monday til today. The highlight of today though is Mp elect Mohammad Ssegirinya taking oath.

Most of the people are so excited about him after all the issues that have been around him. Commonly known as Mr. Updates, he flew in the country in the middle of the night.

Ssegirinya has been in Nairobi receiving treatment after allegedly being tortured while in prison. He was detained after being accused of falsifying academic papers for him to take part in elections.

By the time he came out, he could hardly move or even speak. On seeing that his condition was getting worse, he was flown out of the country.

Actually, reports that came in yesterday were indicating that he may not show up for the ceremony.

However, despite all these, looks like he has beaten all odds and made it here alive. Ssegirinya has managed to win hearts of many even before sitting on office officially. He is one of the Mps that people have a lot of hopes in to work for them.

Mean while, the swearing in ceremony has been very successful. Not much indiscipline has been sighted.

People have endeavored to remain calm and very respectful regardless of their indifferences. Mps have ensured to respect all the SOPs in regard to Covid since it is still here. Generally speaking, the event has been less hectic and smooth for the organizers.
