Kenyan authorities have impounded 39 trucks belonging to traders that are accused of smuggling unchecked maize from Uganda into the country. Earlier this year, Uganda faced a ban from Kenya on its maize exports. This was after Kenya allegedly finding that the grains contain impurities.
