The Late Paul Kafeero’s Son Nabbed Redhanded Stealing Phones

Tony Kafeero, son of the late Kadongo Kamu singer Prince Job Paul Kafeero was nabbed red-handed stealing phones. He was consequently dropped behind bars after confirming committing this crime.

This was also reiterated by the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire.

Owoyesigire said that it was true Tony was arrested and sent behind bars. He however produced the phones back to the owner. And in doing so, he got bailed out by some of his people. Besides the owner of the phones also showed no further interest in pursuing the case.

Tony, however, revealed some of the people he steals with and Owoyesigire said that they will investigate this case further and once all is done, this gang will be persecuted.

“It’s true we arrested an individual identified as Tony Kafeero after he stole 2 phones. He confessed to the crimes but later produced the phones back to the owner who showed no further interest in pursuing the case. Tony also got bailed out by his family but he told us some of his gang and we shall investigate then take them to courts of law,” said Owoyesigire.

Despite Paul Kafeero being arguably the best Kadongo Kamu artist ever, his family has languished in misery ever since his death in 2007. The Buladina Ndibakooya singer had sired many children with different women.

However, he was not the wealthiest of people, a thing that has brought several disagreements amongst his kin. These divided his properties amongst themselves and it wasn’t even enough.

Violence broke out and his remains had to be extracted to carry out DNA tests on some of the children.
