Tiwa Savage To Jet Into Kampala On Friday, Set For An All-Female Performance

Talent Africa CEO, Ali Alibhai, has confirmed that Nigerian diva and songstress Tiwa Savage is set to jet into the country this Friday.

Real names Tiwatope Savage, she will have a performance at Lugogo Cricket Oval on Saturday.

What’s more interesting about this show is that no male entertainer will step on stage. It will be an all-female showpiece throughout.

“Tiwa Savage is jetting into the country on Friday and she will be having a show on the 29th Saturday at Lugogo Cricket Oval. It’s going to be an all-female empowered show on-stage. From DJs to MCs and artistes in Uganda. It’s going to feature the top ladies in the industry. These include Cindy, Winnie Nwagi, Karole Kasita among others,” said Ali Alibhai.

The All Over singer also through a social media video confirmed her presence. She said that nobody should miss the show because it’s going to be lit. According to Tiwa, there are just a few tickets left.

“I’m just thinking how you will feel if you miss this concert in Uganda. You don’t want to miss it because it’s going to be crazy trust me. I want all my buddies to come out because we are coming and it’s only a few tickets left. So, I will see you soon,” the singer said.

This show was supposed to have taken place way back in April. However, it was halted and postponed due to disagreements with the promoter. It was then that Ali and Talent Africa took it over.

This will be Tiwa’s second concert in Uganda. The Afrobeats queen last performed in the country at an all-sold-out concert in 2015 at Kati Kati grounds.

She joins a long list of Nigerian artistes that have made Uganda their cradle land this year.
