Uganda Is An Animal Farm, Not Everyone Is Equal – Tina Fierce

Media personality, Tina Fierce has said Uganda is an animal farm where everyone is not equal. She said this because of how Uganda Communications Commission, UCC handles its business lately.

Her comment revolved around the OS Suuna story with the media that ended up changing a lot of things in the media business. She criticized the way UCC runs its business.

According to her, UCC only works to be seen but not to regulate as they ought to. She gave herself as an example, she says if UCC was really doing their job, then her show on Urban TV shouldn’t have lasted 6 years.

However, it was not until Shiela Gashumba and her then-boyfriend filed a case in court that UCC came out. She says they shouldn’t be waiting for complaints before working.

Recently, UCC ordered all gossip shows to start airing from 10 pm onwards. This came about due to OS Suuna’s complaints about NBS Uncut show. Suuna said he was being defamed on the show.

This complaint even led to the arrest of some media personalities like Kayz. Tina Fierce says she was happy about his arrest because they supported Shiela when she was dragging her in the mud.

Meanwhile, Tina says this is just the beginning, all these shows will be off TV very soon. She expressed pride in having her own show on YouTube on her own terms.
