Ykee Benda And Naira Ali Side With Gravity Omutujju Over Chameleone’s Misfortune

Musicians Ykee Benda and Naira Ali have come out to the defense of fellow singer Gravity Omutujju after the latter celebrated Dr Jose Chameleone’s concert cancellation.

Chameleone’s much anticipated Gwanga Mujje concert ended up being postponed to the 24th of this month. This is after heavy torrential rains left the stage down on its knees begging for mercy.

Taking to his social media pages, Gravity who has been hating on Chameleone celebrated this. The Tusimbudde singer said that this was probably a reward for Chameleone’s bad heart from God.

Music analyst Bushingtone then came out to rally all music stakeholders to boycott Gravity.

“I think the whole industry needs to rally fans to boycott gravity’s music. Artists should stop sharing stage with him. DJs should stop playing his music. Let’s do all we can to show him what it means to be bad.”

Ykee Benda was not happy about it. The Mpaka Records boss recounted how Bushingtone celebrated when Dre Cali deserted Benda’s label.

The Superman singer said that luckily for Gravity, he doesn’t shy away from expressing his dislike for you.

“Says the man who celebrated when Dre Cali run off, right here on Twitter. My point; You like/don’t like whoever you wish, and no one ever stopped you from doing you. Wakili nno gravity takweeka… Many are happy for other people’s failures in silence and tmw they will smile at you,” Ykee Benda replied Bushingtone.

US-based Ugandan singer Naira Ali also disagreed with Bushingtone’s take. She said that however much she doesn’t agree with Gravity’s opinion, it’s a free world. Someone can’t be boycotted for expressing their opinion.

The Sikyalinda singer added how many people suffocate their music in the industry. She pointed out how Spice Diana’s manager, Roger used to pay the media not to play her music.

Many people are still expressing their anger towards Gravity for his views. Although some have defended his right to speech.
