African Union Finally Sets Guidelines To Fight Corona Virus In Africa

The African Centre for Disease Control together with the African Union have finally confirmed several strategies to weaken the spread of the deadly Corona virus, that has destroyed more than 33, 997 and infected a total number of 723,434 by 30th of March this year in the Whole World.

In Africa 134 were the confirmed dead and 4,282 confirmed across the continent.

Apparently, over 40 countries in the African continent were confirmed with Corona Virus cases including South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and others. Therefore the African Union target is to create more ways of preventing the spread and death caused by COVID-19 infection.

Many member States have joined up to save the African continent because it’s facilities are weak compared to the western World. Strategy joints set to enforce include, Coordinate efforts of Member States, African Union agencies, World Health Organization, and more, that will minimize the spread. Services to offer include surveillance, prevention, treatment, and control of COVID-19.

According to the African Union, they will ensure more commitment among all sectors involved in COVID-19 response in Peace and Security, Trade and Industry, Economic Affairs and many others.
