Asan Kasingye Defends Brig. Felix Kulaigye After Comparisons To Maliyamungu

Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Asan Kasingye, has come to the defense of his fellow security official, Brigadier Felix Kulaigye.

This is after Kulaigye was likened to the notorious and infamous chief executor, Maliyamungu under the Amin regime.

Kasingye took to a tweet by comedian Hannington Bugingo to defend Kulaigye. He revealed that he’s seen people insulting the current spokesperson of the Armed Forces. Some have gone ahead to call him all sorts of names including the reincarnated Maliyamungu.

However, to Kasingye, this is not true at all and it’s far-fetched. In fact if Maliyamungu was the one being taunted by those social media users, they wouldn’t be breathing by now.

“I saw you guys comparing Brig. Felix to Malyamungu. If you had said this to the latter, you wouldn’t be tweeting again,” Asan Kasingye replied to a tweet from Bugingo saying, “Naye does #Kulayigye realise how stupid/Insane/irresponsible/mad/ sick…he looks when he claims @NUP_Ug is the one kidnapping people.”

It should be recalled that the security forces led by Kulaigye this week paraded a one Eric Mwesigwa.

Mwesigwa is recalled to have still been paraded by NUP a few weeks ago as a torture victim under security forces.

The public was however left shocked after Mwesigwa claimed that it was NUP which did the terrifying injuries to his body.

He further said the party had promised him Shs 50m and treatment. This was however not effected and government tracked him down thus treating him.

Therefore, he decided to come out and expose the Bobi Wine led party. He did this under the watch of Kulaigye but most people believe this is a cooked up story.
