Association Leaders Tipped On Trustworthiness

Group leaders of boda boda associations have been urged to remain committed and trustworthy in order to avoid collapse before the first anniversaries.

In Ntungamo Municipality, they elected Abdulnoor Nteeyi is the new Boda Boda Movement Association chairman. According to him, greed and poor leadership have contributed a lot to the collapse of many groups and Associations in the district which must stop henceforth.

Chairman Nteeyi, a member of Simba Boda boda stage also hailed the Association members for electing him unopposed as their chairman. This symbolizes the trust they have in him thus promising them to maintain it for the betterment of their association.

He made these remarks on Tuesday at Ntungamo municipality offices after the election. Nteeyi replaces Amos Munyampeta who has been chairman since its inception in 2019.

Further, he advised the new leadership to focus and account to members in the association. He also urged them to make good use of the association resources.

Nteeyi noted that the association started in 2019 with nothing but now it has 68 members. They have 5m and 6 motorcycles they bought using their savings.

Clan leaders

The head of Ngabi clan, Lubega Magandazi Rozio Nsamba the 31st made these remarks during a function where “Kalikutanda Ngabi Family”, an association that brings all the Ngabi members celebrated one year since its inception.

According to him, this is the best time to innovate new ideas on the digital platforms. This information can also educate and teach young people the values and the norms of their culture.
