However, this geopolitics conference was organized and took place at Makerere University and Barbie Kyangulanyi was among the personalities who were chosen to discuss.

Geopolitics Conference

With a theme called “Powerful Woman“, every one was meant to clarify what it means to the public. Among important people who discussed it’s meaning includes Hon Winnie Kizza, An American Ambassador in Uganda, H.E Malac Deborah, Maggie Kigozi, Sarah Ssali,  Stephanie Rivoal who’s a French Ambassador to Uganda and others.

But through the wide discussion, Barbie took some questions which he’ll use to ask other people and share thoughts together.

Therefore, while on social media, Barbie spared time and honoured herself for attending these Geopolitics for the first time.

“It was an honour for me to attend the very first Geopolitics conference organised by the French embassy and held at Makerere University today. My self, together with H.E Malac Deborah (American ambassador to uganda) D.r Maggie Kigozi, H.E Stephanie Rivoal (French Ambassador to Uganda) Hon. Winnie Kiiza and Sarah Sali (Dean school of women and gender studies MUK) sat on the same panel to discuss the meaning of the word POWERFUL WOMEN.. Our discussion was wide but I carried some questions along and I would like to pick your thoughts on these topics. Do you think men are intimidated by women in leadership positions? Where Do you think we stand today in the struggle for women empowerment and gender equality? Are women coming out to take on the platforms availed to them in the leadership arena? Who in your opinion represents a strong woman? I will be sharing a few videos of our discussion soon. Thank you French Embassy for inviting me. It was humbling.”
