Bebe Cool Reveals The Reason Behind His Success

Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is one of the most celebrated singers in the country and the East African region.

He has dominated the airwaves for about 2 decades and is one of the founders of the current urban music industry in Uganda.

One of Bebe Cool’s driving factors that have kept him at the top has been according to him, consistency. It’s rare to find entertainers stay at the top of their game for about 20 years and still look strong.

The Wire wire singer however is still going as his race is yet to come to an end. But what’s his driving factor? What has kept him on the top for so long?

During an interview with a local TV station, Bebe Cool said that the fear of his wife, Zuena Kirema has been the secret.

According to Bebe Cool, if it wasn’t for his baby mama, he would be nowhere near the top for this long.

He pointed out that most of the artists who have cultivated a formidable figure and are well respected all have wives and stable families.

“What has kept me going is the fear of God. That comes first but the fear and respect I have for my wife has been the other factor. Imagine if I was able to come back home in the wee hours of the night and nobody scolds me, if I wasn’t answerable to anybody. That would be the start of the end of me. Just look at the most respectable musicians across the world. All of them have stable families,” said Bebe Cool.

And as the saying goes that behind every successful man, there is always a woman, it seems the case with ‘a one Bebe Banton.’ He’s been married to his wife Zuena for over 20 years and together they have 5 children.
