Bouncers Misusing Police Uniforms To Be Arrested – Enanga

Uganda Police Force has warned bouncers who misuse the police uniforms and also copy police identity. They said they will be arresting them every time they find them in police uniforms with their names written on them.

Bouncers usually show up at events and other public places to safeguard people. They have their association and most of them don’t have a specific uniform they put on.

Some of them dress in suits according to the kind of venue they are at. Others just dress in black when they are at some venues.

According to police spokesperson Fred Enanga, there are bouncers that have been reported to him dressing in Police uniforms.

He said those bouncers don’t have permission to dress like police officers. He said the uniforms of police are respected and they all deserve to be respected by everyone in the country.

“Bouncers are warned against misusing police uniforms and copying police identity. Once we find them, we will be arresting them as they know the police uniforms are to be respected,” the Uganda police Spokesperson said.

It should be noted that actors and actresses were also stopped from using police uniforms in their movies. This has been a common vice in the arts industry.

Some comedians also sometimes wear police uniforms in their skits. These portray the police institution as corrupt and inept. This has drawn a lot of comments from different individuals in the Police force. perhaps this statement from Enanga will put an end to this practice.
