Chameleon Is Great Pillar Of Ugandan Music Industry- Bebe Cool

They say it takes greatness to recognize greatness. This was the case as singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool lauded fellow musician Jose Chameleon during an interview with NTV Uganda.

The two legends who share a rich history together since the early years of their careers in Ogopa Deejays in Kenya have always had a soft spot for one another. This is despite their numerous disagreements.

The “Bogolako” singer who everyone expected to be at loggerheads with the “Vumilia” singer due to their different political ideologies surprised everyone.

This was after Bebe Cool visited Chameleon on his birthday at his parents home in Seguku last year. He even gifted him a birthday cake baked by his wife Zuena.

The Leone island chief appeared to be amazed at this gesture by his compatriot.

Chameleon belongs to the People power camp that is championed by Bebe’s lifetime nemesis Bobi wine. Bebe however, belongs to the ruling NRM. Despite these differences, the two still hooked up towards the end of the year.

Earlier last week, the “Wale wale” singer celebrated his 41st birthday that saw a number of celebrities grace the ceremony, Bebe inclusive.

Now Bebe has gone ahead to applaud Chameleon saying,

“Chameleon is a blessing to the music industry especially the younger generation. His hard work laid a foundation to what everyone is seeing in the industry now. He introduced me to music plus other many musicians I won’t mention.”

This is such a great move that fans of the two camps will love to hear and see their favorite musicians move on from a  decade long beef.
