Comedian Patrick Salvado Reveals Techniques He’s Using To Overcome Alcohol

Popular Ugandan standup comedian Patrick Salvado has narrated the techniques he’s currently using to overcome the consumption of alcohol.

The man from Ombokolo said that he nowadays deliberately attends and hosts events with a lot of alcohol. Apparently, this is to test his appetite for the bottle and so far he has always emerged victorious.

Last evening, prior to the English Premier League clash between Arsenal and Liverpool yesterday, Salvado pleaded with the Gunners to win the game.

This is because a loss would have left him finding comfort in the bottle thus a relapse. Arsenal luckily won the game by 3-1 meaning he wouldn’t drink.

“I’ve deliberately attended and hosted events that have a lot of alcohol to test my zeal and I’ve come on top. I now have one final test, for this one. I can’t make the mistake of being around alcohol cos if we lose I’ll be heavily tempted to drink and I will drink .. so dear @Arsenal, please win this game today so that I continue my sobriety,” he said.

Last week, the comedian took to social media and expressed his amazement at people who abstain from alcohol. He revealed that he has tried all means to salvage himself from drinking all in vain.

This saw his former friend and singer, Bobi Wine offer him help. Well, the ghetto gladiator said that he’s been a non-drinker for 12 years now. Therefore if Salvado talks to him nicely, he will help him to overcome drinking.

Apparently, many out there are battling drug abuse. Alcohol being an intoxicant, it’s one of the biggest causes of drug abuse among celebrities and elsewhere.
