Esther And Ezekiel Mutesasira; We Haven’t Yet Gotten Our Money

Ugandan young music duo, Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira have come out to reveal they have never received their money. The siblings participated in and won the 2019 edition of East Africa’s Got Talent.

These two were supposed to be rewarded with $50,000, an equivalent of 184m shillings. However, it seems that even after two years, the pair hasn’t seen anything.

“We have never received our money. It’s now coming to two years and we are still waiting but nothing yet,” Ezekiel said.

Despite the show having some of the biggest companies, it’s not yet clear why the pair hasn’t yet been paid. Some of the sponsors included Safaricom, KCFB among others.

It is not the first time they are coming out to air their frustration on the delayed payment. They came out a year ago through their social media pages and aired the same grievances.

The EAGT has however never come out to give reasons why they have not effected the payment.

The show was created by the famous Simon Cowell who is a judge on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent shows.
