Gen David Sejusa Hits Out At Public Officials Over Their Opulent Lifestyles

Retired army official, Gen David Sejusa aka Tinyefuza, has come out to hit at public officials that have made it a habit of displaying their pompous and opulent lifestyles.

Sejusa said that they should stop the opulent and decadent behavior. This is because they are public servants. He called out over posting of photos in cozy hotels in areas such as Dubai, New York etc. According to him, this is wrong especially when one has beggars in their constituency. Even if the money was earned legitimately, it’s just not the right thing to do.

Stop public display of opulent lifestyle & other decadent behavior IF YOU ARE A #publicservant. Posting photos of u enjoying life in the most expensive hotels in New York, Dubai…,with beggars in yr constituency? Even when you earned your money Legitimately, and some have; IT’S WRONG!.”

This is a trend that can’t be separated with both politicians from the government and opposition. Although when it comes to luxurious lifestyle display, the opposition edges out government officials. Yet probably it should be the other way around.

This is something that has now been used against the opposition especially Bobi Wine’s NUP.

Some critics have taken to different platforms to question why these are always living in luxury.

Weddings and flying abroad has become a common phenomenon for the NUP. This is something the critics have used to discredit Bobi Wine’s ‘struggle.’

The government officals are also not excusable of this. For instance, the speaker of Parliament Hon Anita Among and her husband Hon Eng Moses Magogo had the country on toes after their birthday gifts in form of their Range Rovers serenading Parliament.

Minster Haruna Kasolo was also at it yesterday during his wedding as he gifted his bride a monstrous Range Rover.
