GNL Zamba Claims Beyonce Copied His 2012 Music Album’s Name ‘Renaissance’

Ugandan music rapper GNL Zamba real name Earnest Nsimbi has claimed that famous American singer Beyoncé copied him. He said he made an album in 2012 and named it “Renaissance”, the same thing Beyonce named her latest album.

GNL Zamba is one of the most established rappers in Uganda. He is always speaking about his achievements. He also brags that he is very rich, talented and has everything he wants.

Although he no longer releases new music, he said he sang enough in the past years to sustain him for now. At the moment, he is much involved in the movie industry with his Caucasian wife.

He recently claimed to have built a mansion out of the music. The only way a Ugandan artiste can make money is by performing on stage.

The rapper hasn’t performed in Uganda for so many years. When he got married, he started living between Uganda and the US. This took most of his time and he couldn’t produce music anymore.

According to the singer, Uganda doesn’t have a copy right law but if it had, he would have secured the name of his album and Beyonce wouldn’t use it.

“Beyoncé copied me because I made my album called Renaissance in 2012, and now she named hers the same. I wish Uganda had an active copy right law, that name wouldn’t be used by another musician,” GNL Zamba remarks.
