I Was The Reason Why Blu3 Broke Up – Cindy Reveals

Back in the early 2000’s when all girl and boy singing groups were the thing, there were some that stood out than others. Blu3 was among them, a girl singing group that churned out many hits but later disintegrated in the late 2000’s.

Now one of the founding members, Cinderella Sanyu has come out to clarify the reason why the group called it quits. She says that her decision to leave left a huge void in the group hence its collapse.

During a local interview, Cindy bragged about how she was the face and power of the group.

“When I left, they replaced me with someone that didn’t have as much influence and power as I had. They should have gotten someone stronger than or equal to me, a person like Juliana probably.” She said.

It should also be recalled that the group consisted of three members, Lilian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru and Cinderella Sanyu. This group rose to fame after winning the TV show, Coca-Cola pop stars in 2004.

Blu3 released numerous hit songs thereafter such as Burn, Hitaji, Nsanyuka Nawe, Where You Are, a collaboration with Radio & Weasel.

The group would later around 2009 disintegrate, with Cindy pursuing a solo career that has turned out to be a success.

When she left, she was replaced with Mya but the group failed to find their feet again hence disbanding it altogether.
