I&M Bank Opens New Branch At Kingdom Kampala Targeting Corporate Clients

The former Orient Bank, now known as I&M Bank will officially launch its new branch at Kingdom Kampala building. The one-of-a-kind services offer enhanced digital services and caters for the dynamic customer needs.

The new branch is apparently tailored for both high net-worth individuals as well as corporate clients. It also hosts the I&M Select Banking suite, a Corporate Banking Centre and 24-hour ATM.

Among all the amenities at this new branch, it will have a 24/7 digital self-service hub the bank named the I&M Digital Pod. With this, clients will have a chance to experience offers from a fully independent bank.

The head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at the bank, Annette Nakiyaga said this will reshape banking as it is known.

“In an era of constantly changing technology, our new advanced digital hub is designed to provide the most efficient and rewarding customer experience. This is for our high net-worth clientele and corporate customers. From financial advisory services, wealth management to offshore banking, the branch will deliver a truly customer-oriented experience,” Ms Nakiyaga said.

Select media personnel had a tour of one of the bank’s unique sections guided by Joseph Fetaa, the bank’s Head of Products and Channels. He explained that there are a lot of benefits in the I&M Select Banking concept for its members.

“The I&M Bank Select banking members will enjoy benefits such as a world-class debit card. This gives one access to the I&M Select Centre and select airport lounges around the world,” he said.

He added that members will guarantee complimentary travel insurance when they use the card to book flights.

He also revealed that the branch will handle all offshore banking services to be rolled out by the bank next month.
