Is It Right To Remain In Touch With your Ex?

Some of the hardest relationship questions to answer is whether to stay in touch with your ex. Sometimes there are a lot of mixed feelings about this, so many fears. It can be really risky because its not kept under check especially if someone has moved on.

I don’t believe that you should be enemies with your ex lover but I also don’t think you should remain too close.

There are so many risks with keeping so in touch. Highest percentage is that the two of you will never move on from each other. The truth of the matter is that the casual talk will cease and you will find yourselves talking about what would have been and not is at the moment.

Not that it’s bad to get back together but if the reasons were genuine to let go then you are going to throw yourself in the same ditch.

Most of the times, it’s these communications that destroy the new relationships we try to build after the other failed. No one will be okay with you constantly talking to your ex lover. You could put yourself in the other person’s shoes, how would you feel?

This breeds jealousy which comes with insecurity then lack of trust. At the end of the day, another relationship is lost.

This is not to say that you completely do a way with someone. Let them know you moved on, let them know their limits when it comes to communicating to you as a person. Otherwise you will be in relationship cycles and your heart will be a mess not knowing who you actually love.

If the time comes and you have to just completely not keep in touch then don’t keep in touch for your sake, them and the person you have chosen to move on with.
