We Have lost A Great Man – Bobi Wine Praises Late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata

Bobi Wine has praised the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte saying he was such a great man and its a great loss for the country.

“Islam, Buganda & Uganda have lost a great man with ‘tough love’. We that grew up as orphans found a parent in Sheikh Muzaata. He was life’s teacher. He always gave me a sense of security,” NUP Presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi said.

Bobi Wine also said the presence of Sheikh Muzaata always gave him a sense of security. Every time he would be in a place where Muzaata is, there was a sense of safety he felt.

He praised him for always keeping him under check and every time he looked as if he was losing his way, Muzaata would call him and speak sense into him and put him back in line.

His sting on government;

Kyagulanyi also took that same opportunity to express his dissatisfaction in the current government. He says the government has done so little for the Muslim fraternity. The NUP president said up to now the Muslims that were murdered have never got any kind of justice.

Bobi Wine even pointed out that so many Muslims are in jail for crimes that didn’t commit and he promised that as soon as he becomes president, he will ensure they are released especially if they are innocent.

It is still unclear what killed the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata because there has been a clear autopsy read by the doctors. He has been in hospital for a while after getting an attack from home.

Bobi wine questioned the efficiency of the health system that can’t even come out to say what really killed an important person like Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata.

Muzaata is to be buried today at Kigogwa.
