Kabako’s Dress Code Denied Him Access To Gen Salim Saleh

Local singer Roden Y Kabako came out to defend himself yesterday on NBS TV Uncut saying they shouldn’t count him among those artistes who went to Gulu.

A number of artists went to Gulu a few weeks ago where they met Gen. Salim Saleh, Operation Wealth Creation leader.

Among them are; Dr Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Pallaso, Karole Kasita, Fefe Bussi, Weasel among others.

The public however heavily criticized these singers. Even fellow singer, former presidential candidate Bobi Wine hit out at them.

They labeled them beggars, something that didn’t sit down well with them.

Now over the weekend, Bobi Wine called a similar meeting in his home of artistes leaning towards his principles. Kabako and Karole Kasita who were among the Gulu contingent still appeared.

The energetic Kabako came out to say that he never entered the barracks in Gulu. He however said that at Bobi Wine’s in Magere, they welcomed him the way he was dressed because it’s home.

“Did you see me in Gulu barracks? Didn’t you hear Fefe Bussi’s song saying I was bounced for not wearing long trousers. However in Magere I dressed the way I wanted and even took selfies with president Bobi wine.” Kabako said.

It’s not clear what the musicians who met with Kyagulanyi at his home discussed.
