Bobi Wine Back In Studio, Plans To Release New Music

Singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine is back in studio and ready to release new projects. The singer was yesterday seen in studio alongside his singing partner Nubian Li and other members rehearsing.

Nubian Li who was interviewed was questioned where they get the energy to hit studio even when they know that the government won’t permit them to sing.

The Fire base crew vice said that even though they are denied the stage to sing from, their fans can’t be taken away. These are therefore the ones they are recording the music for. He also promised that they will soon organize an online concert for their fans.

“They can refuse us to sing on stage but they can’t take away our fans. They are the ones we are making this music for. Any time we shall be making an online concert and our fans should be expectant. We can basically sing about anything, be it hunger, suffering, happiness, just anything that comes our way.” Nubian Li said.

It should be noted that ever since Bobi Wine joined active politics, his music career has stalled a little bit. He has barely released music only dropping a few projects much to the disappointment of his fans.

His last song was Katengo which aroused mixed reactions from some sections of the ruling government due to it’s message.

However, the government put the singer under some sort of ban with his last performance on stage being in 2019.
